Disclosures

Editorial position
The Fennec Lab is a free reference site. Every calculator names the statute, rule, regulation, or filing it implements, links the primary source, and ships with a unit-test suite on the underlying formula. Pages carry a visible "last reviewed against" stamp that records the version of the rule the page was reviewed against.
Not advice
Calculators on this site are planning tools, not professional advice. They are not legal, tax, insurance, or financial advice, and they do not create a professional relationship between you and the site or its operators. Before acting on any calculator output, consult a licensed professional in your jurisdiction for advice specific to your situation.
Advertising
We do not currently display advertising of any kind — no ad network runs on this site. Our only commercial relationship is the sister-property link disclosed below. We do not accept paid placement that would alter calculator outputs or editorial conclusions, and if we add advertising in the future it will be disclosed here before any ad code goes live.
Affiliate links
We have no affiliate links on this site and earn no commission from any outbound link. The "Resources" list at the foot of a calculator is a citation list — statutes, regulators, standards bodies, and trade-association benchmarks — and following one pays us nothing. If we ever enter an affiliate relationship, the links will be tagged rel="sponsored nofollow" in the page source with a visible on-page callout, and this section will be updated before the first one goes live.
Sister property
The Fennec Lab is part of a small portfolio that includes Fennec Press, a sister site that sells business templates for 40+ industries. Lead-funnel links from calculators on this site to relevant Fennec Press product pages are UTM-tagged so we can measure cross-property traffic, and carry rel="sponsored" in the page source because they point at our own store. They are the only commercial links on the site.
Updates
We refresh every YMYL page after each Florida legislative session and after any regulatory update that touches its source statute. The visible "last reviewed" stamp on each calculator records the most recent review date.
