What we collect

The Fennec Lab is a free reference site. We collect the minimum information needed to operate it:

• Analytics: aggregate pageviews, session counts, and Core Web Vitals via Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, and — when it is configured for the site — Google Analytics 4. We do not collect personally-identifying data through analytics.
• "Email me a copy" submissions: when you ask us to email a calculator result, we store your email address, which calculator you used, the inputs and results that went into the PDF, whether you opted in to statute-change updates, and the IP address and browser user-agent the request came from. We never sell or share this data, and the emails we send include a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Server logs: standard web-server logs (IP, user agent, requested URL) kept by our host for security and abuse-prevention purposes only.

What we do not collect

• Calculator inputs are not persisted when you use a calculator or the "Download PDF" button — only when you submit the "Email me a copy" form above.
• We do not use third-party tracking beyond Google Analytics 4 and Vercel's native analytics.
• We do not run social-media pixels or cross-site retargeting.

Advertising and cookies

We do not currently serve display advertising. No ad network runs on this site, and we set no advertising or retargeting cookies. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights are cookieless; Google Analytics 4, where enabled, sets its own first-party measurement cookies. If we ever add advertising, this page will be updated before any ad code goes live.

Your rights

Under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights and equivalent state laws, you may request access, correction, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you. Email hello@thefenneclab.com with your request.
